We are a small group of developers enthusiastic about both No-Code and Web3. Unfortunately, callin.io lacks even basic support for blockchain interactions generally, and EVM specifically. This is even unachievable with the Code node because the crypto package doesn’t support the ECDSA algorithm, which is necessary for signing EVM transactions.
And it’s not just us; there’s a clear demand for this within the callin.io community, as indicated by the forum activity.
Therefore, we’ve decided to initiate an open-source, community-driven project to develop and maintain a foundational set of Web3-enabled custom callin.io modules.
It already includes some custom protocol-specific nodes that we developed for our own requirements previously, and have consolidated them into a single monorepo. Our current plan is to work on a basic set of custom nodes for EVM interaction.
The community package is already available on NPM and can be installed on your self-hosted callin.io deployments.
We are seeking community support. You could begin by starring
the repository on GitHub to validate our concept. Subsequently, we are eager to accept feature requests for the nodes and are generally open to feedback.
