I'm currently working with an Airtable base containing 2000 records, and at least 1000 of these records have attachments that vary in size from 1mb to 100mb. This is, as expected, consuming a significant amount of storage. While we plan to compress attachments before uploading them in the future, individually compressing this many attachments isn't practical.
I'm having trouble determining the correct scenario, trigger, and action to use, as well as how to configure them to leverage callin.io as a connection between Airtable and ILovePDF for the purpose of compressing these documents.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
Hello,
Utilize a webhook to extract data from Airtable. Then, using the Ilovepdf module within callin.io, compress the file. After compression, you have the option to store the compressed file in the same file and row in Airtable, or create a new Airtable base for it.

Hi, please add another column to your Airtable base. This column should be a dropdown with the value "Done".
In callin.io, begin with the Airtable Search module. Configure it to retrieve records that do not yet have the "Done" value. Once you have these records, proceed with the ILOVEPDF integration. After that, update the specific record's column to "Done". This ensures that the same record won't be pulled in subsequent runs.
It's all set!
Adjust the run limit and schedule your scenario as needed.
Happy Automating!
Feel free to ask if you have any questions!
Can you walk me through what that would look like inside callin.io? I’m stuck!
Thanks,
Lauren
Yes, I'd be happy to assist!
Let's schedule a call. Thank you.
