Hi callin.io. This Airtable polling issue continues to puzzle me. Essentially, whenever a new record is added to my Airtable base, callin.io is supposed to process it – that's the intended logic. My understanding of the polling time is that Airtable should check for any new entries or records and then process them. Most of the time, when I check the execution, it processes most of them, but others don't for some peculiar reason, and even more strangely, the polling time isn't functioning correctly. What am I missing? Because my workflow is supposed to check every 15 minutes, and based on my assessment, the record is still present.

Hello
I haven't extensively used Airtable. I performed a quick search to find a solution involving webhooks, which is a common integration method these days. However, it appears Airtable has some limitations regarding live updates.

My initial plan was to set up a callin.io Webhook Trigger and a webhook within Airtable that would call the callin.io webhook whenever data in Airtable is modified.

In this Airtable forum thread, I discovered that this can be accomplished using functions.

Perhaps this information will assist you in creating your own real-time solution.

Nevertheless, the polling mechanism should function as expected. It might be beneficial for the callin.io team to review this.

Hey,

Regarding polling, we would check the poll time for any data newer than the timestamp saved from the last execution.

If there's no data to collect, we won't log the execution since it's unnecessary, so it's normal not to see anything in the execution log.

However, if you're adding or modifying data in your base, there might be an issue. Please send me a message on Slack with details about your base and the action your trigger performs. I'll set up a quick test for you today or tomorrow morning.
