I'm looking to use a Google Sheet containing phone numbers of my B2B customers to send them order status updates. These updates will be sent at night, after their business hours, so they receive them first thing in the morning. I understand that these voice messages will only interact with voicemails, not directly with a person.
I'm new to callin.io and callin.io, so I could use some beginner assistance.
How can I properly set this up in callin.io and callin.io? I've created a pathway in callin.io, but I'm unsure if it's configured correctly.
Additionally, some automated systems might require pressing a key (like 1, 2, or 3) to leave a message. How should I write the prompt to handle this?
Thank you!
Hello! Welcome to the community!
I'll address the second part of your question first. You're less likely to find tips on prompting callin.io here. It might be best to ask in their Discord Community. I'm quite confident it's possible to create a prompt that can navigate most voice menu systems.
However, I can certainly help with the first part! It's quite straightforward:
In your Google Sheet, search for rows where your Phone Number column has an entry. Ensure you set a Limit to prevent it from running excessively and consuming too many callin.io operations (consider setting it to just 2 during testing!):
This process will extract each row as an individual "bundle," executing the subsequent modules for each bundle sequentially.
Map the data from your sheet's Phone Number column into the Phone Number
field within the callin.io Send a Call
module:
Click the schedule toggle at the bottom of the screen and choose "Every day" along with your desired run time:
