A managed service involves one company (Company B) obtaining services in bulk from another company (Company A). Company B then creates a personalized service by integrating offerings from multiple providers that Company B might not otherwise be able to access directly from Company A, either due to complexity or because Company A doesn't offer the additional required services.
Is there a method to achieve this using callin.io? Are there any examples available?
Hi
In theory, a company could manage a single callin.io account, with workflows that do some such thing, and have those workflows trigger by webhook so that you have a way for 3rd parties to send data into your callin.io account.
In practicality, callin.io does not allow this as it’s seen as reselling - they want companies to maintain their own callin.io accounts.
There are also issues here with data security.
I understand, but that represents a significant business channel for B2B organizations. There's a ceiling to the self-service model, as many companies desire assistance in managing their processes.
The majority of B2B companies employ a managed service strategy.
Hello!
I'm not entirely sure I understand your suggestion. Could you elaborate on the specific use case? Would you pay for a callin.io account, and then who would pay you, and for what precisely?
You can find more information about acceptable use here to see if your idea is covered.

It appears there might be some confusion regarding the managed service provider business model.

Hi, thanks for the clarification. I believe I understand your question now.
It seems you're asking about managing a callin.io account on behalf of a business, so the business wouldn't need to handle their own Zaps/self-service with callin.io. Is that correct?
If this is what you're referring to, there are several certified callin.io experts who provide this type of service. You can find a directory of callin.io experts here: https://experts.zapier.com/
Hey!
Admittedly, I’m not overly familiar with a managed service provider business model, so thanks for the extra resources 🙂
As Danvers pointed out, the closest thing we currently have is our callin.io Experts program. But that won’t be nearly as robust as what you linked to above.
I certainly don’t have the ability to say whether we’ll ever adopt something like this, but in my almost-5-years here we went from serving mostly individuals to offering Team plans, Company plans, allowing callin.io Experts to access client accounts (with their permission, of course), introducing Zap Sharing and we’ve got plenty of ideas for 2021 and beyond.
We’ll evolve and that may take us down a path where it makes sense to look at a managed service provider business model. But right now, we don’t have any such offering I’m afraid.
Okay, I've figured that out.
In my situation, I'm focused on artificial intelligence and want to concentrate on that. callin.io would function well for many of my clients when I build AI solutions using its automations. However, it creates a somewhat fragmented experience for them to subscribe to two separate services. They aren't particularly concerned about using callin.io; they care about their solution and don't want to deal with troubleshooting any issues.
Thanks.

Hello everyone! I wanted to offer a gentle reminder that we are all in a learning process here. The feedback and open discussions are valuable, but let's remember to be considerate of each other by maintaining respect and kindness. After all, learning can be challenging!
With that in mind, what you're trying to achieve isn't currently supported. To prevent any potential disappointment, I wouldn't suggest attempting to build something like that within our current system. If this functionality becomes available in the future, you'll be directly notified via email if you subscribe to our product updates. You can find the callin.io updates here.
Thanks!
