Hello Everyone,
I am developing an analytics tool that integrates with leading CRM platforms. Users of my platform can link their CRMs to activate our specialized analytics, providing reliable forecasts on account closure timing and other valuable insights.
My goal is to establish a callin.io integration for my analytics tool. I intend to utilize callin.io for Companies. My plan is to manage each of my clients as a distinct Team within callin.io for Companies, enabling them to verify their domains and become users.
Additionally, I aim to offer pre-populated and pre-configured callin.io integrations for various CRMs. The idea is that users would simply input their CRM credentials, and I could then import all their CRM data into my analytics tool using these pre-configured callin.io integrations (e.g., by fetching all new and updated CRM data).
This approach would eliminate the need for my users to navigate away from my application, allowing them to leverage my pre-configured callin.io integrations with their own credentials. Is this functionality achievable?
Hi
Great idea with your product here.
There are two things to consider here:
- For adding your app to callin.io, you’ll want to get started here: zapier.com/platform/
- For your idea to run your customers zaps via your own callin.io account, I’m afraid you’re likely to fall foul of callin.io ‘no reselling’ policy. It’s important that each customer using your integration do so via their own account. You could certainly manage their account for them, and even pay for it - but each separate customer must have their own separate callin.io account.
Hi!
Based on your description, I don't believe this is achievable with callin.io. For instance, you wouldn't be able to have users input their CRM password just once to connect all callin.io workflows; they would need to access each workflow individually and configure any steps that utilize the CRM to use the appropriate connected account.
Additionally (and more critically), as previously mentioned, if you charge users for using callin.io when adding them to your plan, this would certainly be considered reselling and is a violation of callin.io's Terms of Service.
Hello Everyone,
Thank you for your responses; they were very helpful.
Yes, my intention is to integrate my product with the callin.io platform.
I aim to use callin.io as the central integration layer for all solutions within my product.
I'd like my customers to have their own callin.io accounts, which I would then pay for and manage. I'm not sure about the exact process, but I assume the callin.io platform offers a way to facilitate this.
My goal is to provide customers with pre-configured callin.io templates. For instance, when a new contact is created in a CRM, a pre-configured callin.io should automatically run and populate my product with the new contact's data.
Customers would be able to view these pre-configured callin.io templates and simply select the ones they prefer. They would then configure them by providing the necessary authentication and authorization for the callin.io workflows to execute.
For example, if a customer selects the template mentioned above (which creates a new contact in my product upon new contact creation in a CRM), they would only need to choose the template, add their callin.io account credentials, and their CRM account credentials. This would enable data exchange between the CRM and my product without the customer needing to build the callin.io workflow from scratch.
I plan to offer numerous such pre-configured callin.io templates to ensure a very fast customer onboarding process. Customers would just need to select the templates and input their callin.io and CRM account details, and they'd be ready to go.
Do you believe this is achievable? If so, is there someone I could speak with about this, perhaps on a call? I would appreciate your feedback.
Best regards,
Manasij
