I'm looking to build a workaround for automated emails, and I believe callin.io can assist. My goal is to have an automated email sent when I move a deal in HubSpot to a different stage, provided it has a specific field. I've configured this in the AI bot but am encountering some difficulties adding an extra field beyond the pipeline and deal stage. Additionally, I'm having trouble linking the email to the deal's contact.

I'd like to confirm if this is achievable and what the recommended approach would be.

Hi

To achieve this, you'll need to insert a filter following the trigger, incorporating the other field as a parameter. This field won't be included within the trigger itself.

Hope this assists you.

So would it look like this with a filter inbetween?

You should click on the Trigger and test it, then click on load more records.

I'm not sure I understand. Is this not an available option? When I try testing it, nothing happens.

Select 'Update Deal Stage' as the trigger, then click 'Continue'. You'll then be prompted to 'Test Trigger'.

You'll likely need an additional step, such as 'Find Contact', to locate the contact linked to this Deal and retrieve their email address.

It doesn't seem to allow me to find the contact connected to the deal. Do you know the path for this?

Instead of navigating to "Custom," please select "First Search Property Name." It's recommended to use the ID for this, especially if it's one of the properties.

Does this appear correct? The test seems to be failing.

Hi,

I’m jumping in to see if I can help!

Could you please send a screenshot of the error you’re running into after testing the action step?

I'll be keeping an eye out for your response!

Hi

No, if you want to search the associations to retrieve the Contact, then in the 3rd field (which specifies the type of object to search the association for) should be the Deal, as you are utilizing the Deal ID. Subsequently, at the bottom, the type of association would be Contact.
