How to upload an audio file to Gemini-pro

I've experimented with several approaches using callin.io to analyze phone calls with Gemini-pro, but the outcomes haven't been satisfactory. My method was inspired by this template, and I incorporated Google Cloud Storage with a bucket. While it functions, the quality of the results doesn't match those from Google AI Studio.

In Google AI Studio, the process is straightforward: you upload the audio file, and Gemini handles the text recognition and responds to the prompt query.

Is there a method to accomplish this with callin.io? How can I upload an audio file to Gemini-pro via Google Vertex AI to construct a chat prompt?
