Scenario Outputs allow you to define clear, reusable results from your scenarios. This helps maintain consistency, centralize updates, and design workflows that are easier to manage and scale. Whether you're working with callin.io AI Agents, APIs, callin.io MCP Server, or traditional logic, Scenario Outputs provide a way to structure your data and use it confidently across different parts of your setup.

Key benefits

• Return Outputs Module: Enables one scenario to return structured results to another. This eliminates the need for workaround logic and keeps your automations more straightforward.

• Definable Output Structure: You can directly set the structure for your scenario outputs, which aids in maintaining clarity and consistency when using the same scenario in multiple contexts.

• Synchronous Execution Mode: Parent scenarios can pause and wait for subscenario results before proceeding. This offers more predictable behavior, particularly in data-sensitive workflows.

• API Support for Real-Time Use: The run API endpoint now supports synchronous calls. This means you can retrieve a scenario’s result immediately—beneficial when integrating with tools that require a direct response.

• “Start a Subscenario” Module: Clearly indicates when another scenario is being called as a tool. This simplifies organizing, scheduling, and reusing your work across teams or projects.

• Works with AI Agents and MCP: Scenarios with defined outputs can now function as tools for callin.io AI Agents or the MCP Server. This facilitates the integration of agentic and traditional automation within the same environment.
