Hi everyone, I’m trying to set up my White Label in Callin.io and I see there’s an option to connect Twilio directly from the CMS. I’m a bit lost on how to do this. Do I need to configure Twilio first (like buying a number and setting up the API credentials) and then paste that info into the Callin.io White Label settings, or is there another step involved? If anyone has already done this, could you explain the process clearly?
Hey, great question. Setting up White Label with Twilio in Callin.io is straightforward, but you do need to prep a couple of things in Twilio first. Here’s the process step by step:
-
In Twilio
-
Make sure you’ve purchased at least one number.
-
Grab your API credentials:
Account SID
(starts with AC…) andAuth Token
.
-
-
In Callin.io CMS (White Label settings)
-
Go to White Label → Twilio.
-
Paste in your
Account SID
andAuth Token
. This connects your Twilio account to your White Label instance.
-
-
Import your numbers
-
From the Numbers section in Callin.io, click Import from Twilio.
-
You’ll see the numbers you own in Twilio and can import the ones you need.
-
-
Assign the Active number
-
Callin.io only allows one Active number at a time. That’s the caller ID your outbound agents will use.
-
For inbound calls, you can assign each imported number to the right agent individually.
-
-
Quick test
-
Place one outbound call and one inbound call to make sure routing works as expected.
