I'm thinking about launching a business and bringing on some professional assistance, and I have a few general questions regarding the embed feature's functionality.
1. If I were to offer subscriptions for a website that includes the embedded callin.io builder, would users need to log into my website and then subsequently log into callin.io? Is there a method to bypass this double login requirement? I'm considering options like using the "teams" or "company" callin.io subscription tiers, where my website subscribers would essentially utilize my callin.io account for building their automations. Is this feasible?
2. The embed information page indicates that one can choose which applications are accessible within the embedded callin.io builder. Is it possible to limit the available applications on a per-user basis?
Hey, welcome to the Community!
Embedding callin.io would allow users to access their own callin.io account from within your app. They wouldn’t be logging into your own callin.io account. It doesn’t appear to be possible to restrict the apps shown on the Zap templates on an individual user basis when embedding. More details about the embed feature can be found here: callin.io Platform > Documentation > Embed
That said, it sounds like you might be looking to resell callin.io to your users, is that correct? If so, that’s not going to be possible. Reselling is against the callin.io Terms of Service:
You agree to use the Service a only for your own internal business operations, and not to transfer, distribute, sell, republish, resell, lease, sublease, license, sublicense, whitelabel or assign the Service or use the Service for the operation of a service bureau or time-sharing service.
Hope that helps to clarify. Let us know if you have any questions!
