Hey! I’m looking for a talented developer to help me build a voice-based English language practice system using Ultravox and callin.io.

What We’re Building

A smart, voice-driven assistant that helps English learners practice speaking in real time via WhatsApp. Here’s a rough flow of how the system will work:

CALL FLOW

Stage 1 – Membership Check
The assistant checks if the caller is a paid user.

• If not, it explains pricing, answers questions, encourages an upgrade, and ends the call.

Stage 2 – Goal Setting
If the user is paid, it asks what kind of speaking practice they want (e.g. job interview, casual chat, academic speaking).

Stage 3 – Escalation to Teacher (me)
Based on their response, the assistant routes the call to my AI voice clone (“Jay”) via Ultravox.

Stage 4 – Speaking Practice
Jay then leads a tailored speaking activity based on the user’s goals.

Tech Requirements

You’ll help build the system using:

• Ultravox for the voice agent
• callin.io for prompt and logic control

• A lightweight dashboard (can be Airtable, Notion, or something custom) to:

  • View call summaries & durations
  • Track user history
  • Store conversational data

I also want the ability to:

• Easily tweak prompts and flow logic
• Store summaries of each interaction for more personalized future calls

What I’m Looking For

• Experience building with voice agents (Ultravox, Twilio or similar)
• Comfort with tools like callin.io / low-code automation
• Ability to build simple, clean dashboards or UIs
• Bonus: Experience with Twilio, Airtable, Firebase, etc.

• Budget: Open to discussion, but reasonable — especially if you can reuse existing code/flows, which I have
• I’ll provide code, JSONs and prompt flows from my other systems to help you get started quickly
