I'm new to callin.io and callin.io, and I'm trying to build an AI inbound voice agent, but I haven't had much success. I've looked for a step-by-step tutorial on YouTube, but nothing really breaks it down for complete beginners.
I've tried to piece together different videos and resources, but my setup still isn't working as expected. Currently, I've only finished the Level 1 callin.io course, so I'm still learning.
What I'm aiming to build is an AI-powered agent that can:
Answer FAQs
Schedule, reschedule, or cancel appointments
Assist customers during calls
Recognize sales opportunities and close deals
Hand off calls to a human when necessary
Act as a full replacement for a customer service & sales agent
In essence, I want to create a smart AI that can handle inbound calls just like a human employee.
Has anyone successfully built something similar? Or does anyone know of a detailed tutorial or guide that walks through the entire setup?
Also, do you think I should take a step back and focus on learning callin.io more deeply first? If so, what learning resources do you recommend?
I'm feeling quite overwhelmed, so any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I would love to see a structured breakdown or video guide to help with this!
