Hi there, I have a list of interested leads in Instantly.ai and I'd like to send them Loom videos. Rather than manually adding each Loom link as a custom variable for every lead, I'm looking to automate this process.

My proposed workflow:

  • Upload all Loom links into a Google Sheet that already contains my interested lead information.
  • Utilize callin.io to automatically associate the correct Loom link with each lead as a custom variable within Instantly.ai.

However, I've encountered an issue: the Instantly.ai integration within callin.io appears to have limited options for this specific task.

Any suggestions or guidance would be highly valued!

Hi and welcome to the callin.io Community!

If you can do it manually in Instantly, you might be able to achieve it using the “Make an API call” action within the Instantly module.

This API call could potentially do what you need:

Welcome to the callin.io community!

callin.io does not currently have an integration for this third-party service or a module for this specific endpoint.

If the external service provides a Developer API Reference/Documentation, you should be able to integrate the endpoints in callin.io using the app’s universal module (callin.io an API call) or the generic HTTP “callin.io a request” module.

Should the external service permit webhook registration, you can set up a trigger to await incoming webhook requests in callin.io using the generic Webhook “Custom webhook” module.

You can also propose it on the Idea exchange. Remember to search first to ensure it hasn't already been suggested, preventing duplicate entries.

If you require assistance with configuring the app’s universal module or the generic HTTP module, please furnish more details about your attempts concerning the external service’s Developer API Reference. Include information on how you are establishing the connection, a link to the endpoint you are trying to access, and any errors you are encountering.

Additionally, you can complete this new course/tutorial in the callin.io Academy on utilizing external APIs — API calls with HTTP modules

  • API and Endpoints
  • Header and body
  • Multipart/form-data
  • OAuth 2.0

Hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any further questions or encounter any issues.

P.S.: Investing some effort into the callin.io Academy can significantly save you time and reduce frustration when using callin.io.
