Hi,
Has anyone managed to get the new YouTube module working?
I thought I had, and it did post something to YouTube, but I wasn't able to post it.
I attempted to post a YouTube Short using this module, retrieving data from Airtable.
For some reason, it's not clear what data needs to be entered here.
I assumed:
- File name - file name
- Video URL from Airtable
Any insights or tutorials? I did search for it but couldn't find anything.
Thanks!
What is the origin of your data?
You'll need to utilize an HTTP GET request. Following that, you can conveniently map the data.
My data source is Airtable. Several modules function correctly without HTTP mapping, so I assumed the same would apply to the YouTube module. I will proceed with the HTTP method.
Got it. So, retrieve the video URL from Airtable, use it in an HTTP GET request, and then map that to the YouTube module.
Hey
Everytime toto adds a file anywhere, it first needs to be downloaded using a supported application.

It seems the file size is not accepted; it's 53.7 MB. I didn't think it was that large, but I can't locate the file size limit.
blueprint.json (34.5 KB)
I've implemented the methods I believed would work, but neither is having any effect.
What plan callin.io are you on? Different plans have different file size limits for the http call. I'm assuming you surpassed your max size. Not sure of any workarounds.
There is no workaround for the HTTP module currently as it's an internal limitation. The YouTube module is somewhat limited in its current state. You might consider using Google Drive's "Download a file" option instead.
I'm sure many would agree that increasing the HTTP module's maximum file size limit would be a valuable enhancement.

I understand they want to monetize their platform, and I'm willing to upgrade if I require more resources.
However, I'm curious why a module was created that doesn't function similarly to the Facebook or Instagram modules.
It would be a valuable addition to have YouTube automation capabilities, and I'd also appreciate the inclusion of TikTok. This would enable me to have a robust social media scheduler that supports my workflow rather than hindering it.
Thanks for the feedback!
