Dear callin.io community,
Happy New Year to you all.
I’m trying to build an automation that performs the following actions:
- Module one, using a Perplexity AI chat call, requests the last game played by the Washington Wizards.
- Module two, also via a Perplexity AI chat, asks for the initial information to be formatted in a specific manner.
- Module three outputs the date, the game (team vs team), and the score to a designated cell in a spreadsheet.
The challenge I'm encountering is that the AI infrequently provides the correct information. For instance, it might return a game played a week ago or a game scheduled for next week, instead of the most recent game with its score.
I initially suspected my prompts were the issue, but as I refined them, it appears the AI API integrated with callin.io struggles to locate sources detailing the most recent game/score.
At this stage, I suspect it might be an API limitation, but since it occasionally provides the correct output, I'm puzzled. The only other possibility I can consider is a date and timezone discrepancy confusing the AI. My callin.io account is configured for New York/America, but when the automation runs every 3 hours, the date tracked under the "now" date/time stamp appears as GMT (as I am located in the UK).
Any advice or alternative approaches would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you, take care, and have a wonderful weekend.
Hi, I'm experiencing similar problems. Perplexity's output from a link I provide is often not very good.
