Voice-Activated WhatsApp Workflow for Construction Quotes (Screenshot Included)

Hello everyone,

I'm developing a voice-activated workflow in callin.io for construction workers to request plant machinery hire quotes through WhatsApp or voice calls.

What I’d like the workflow to do:

• Be initiated by a voice or text message sent via WhatsApp (ideally hands-free on site).
• Automatically extract essential details from the message, such as machinery type, location, and hire dates.
• Create templated emails and dispatch them to a list of pre-established plant hire providers.
• Incorporate a straightforward approval mechanism for the project manager (either by responding on WhatsApp or another quick method) before the emails are dispatched.
• Send a confirmation message back to the original sender once the emails have been sent.
• I'm also considering if tools like agentic AI or CrewAI could enhance this process, making it more dynamic, but I'm uncertain about the starting point or if it might be excessive.

My questions:

• Is my current approach suitable for this type of workflow?
• Is there a more effective way to handle the approval step from a mobile device?
• Would agentic AI offer benefits, or is callin.io sufficient on its own?
• Do you have any recommendations for dynamically managing email templates for different providers?

I'd appreciate any insights from those who have tackled similar projects.
