What should I check if my agent is not showing transcripts or entities in the call history?

Hi everyone,
I’m new to Callin and testing my first agent. In the call history I can see the duration and status, but I can’t see the transcript or extracted data (like the email or date we talked about during the call).

Does anyone know what I should check, or if I’m missing something in the setup?

Thanks in advance!

Welcome! This is a pretty common situation when starting out and it usually comes down to a few simple settings. Here’s what to check:

  • Turn “Record calls” ON for your agent. If it was OFF during the call, no transcript or entities will be generated. (Turning it on later won’t retroactively add them).

  • Call length. Very short calls (hang-ups, voicemail) won’t create transcripts.

  • Appointments. For the Appointment column to show entries, make sure your agent has Schedule Appointments ON and is properly linked to your Google Calendar → Official guide here .

  • Entity extraction. Your prompt should explicitly ask for info like email, date, name and confirm them during the call.

Quick tip: switch Record calls ON, run a test call of at least 1 minute, and then check again. You should see both transcript + entities right away.
