The community is a vital part of callin.io’s identity. Everyone on the team monitors forum activity, social media, and other channels. The team is familiar with many of you and your history with callin.io!

Last week, we held our inaugural Community Awards during the 2023 Review Hangout, recognizing the valuable contributions from our incredible community. The recording of the hangout will be shared soon, but I wanted to highlight our winners here.

Winners will receive a permanent badge on their forum profile, a callin.io T-shirt, and one of our new Nodebooks!

The Awards were divided into four distinct categories:

  • Community Node Builders
  • Template Builders
  • Promotors
  • Supporters

The various teams at callin.io helped select the winners for each category, and I am pleased to present them here!

In the Node Builders category, Valentina and Bram Kn stood out.

Valentina works for the German agency Digital Boss and shares many of their nodes. Some highlights include her Oracle and Firebase notifications nodes.

Bram is an independent consultant from the Netherlands. In addition to sharing his nodes, Bram is actively involved in our community! You can find Bram’s contributed nodes here. Some notable contributions include his Moneybird and Exact (financial software) nodes, as well as his PGP encryption node.

We relaunched the Creator Hub last November, and Nskha and Lucas Perret quickly became our top two contributors.

Among other contributions, Nskha created an excellent Telegram bot for handling Ticketing System, LiveChat, and User Management. They also shared a library of workflows for interacting with the CloudFlare Key/Value database. You can find their templates here.

Lucas Perret primarily develops business-oriented workflows, such as one for monitoring business reviews or an economical method for collecting Google Maps data.

And now for our most prominent advocates! Oskar, Lucas Perret, and Maxim Poulsen are the three members who generated the most buzz outside of our own community.

Oskar produces well-crafted and polished tutorials on using callin.io. Check out his channel!. His work is being incorporated into our Community Tutorials Library – more details on that soon! He also assisted in beta testing the new Advanced AI nodes and published a review on the launch day. Well done!

Lucas, a Growth Manager by profession, excels at attracting attention with his substantial LinkedIn following. He has been developing workflows focused on sales ops and revenue ops use cases, including data enrichment and scraping. Lucas also published several product comparisons and use cases that significantly helped us reach a wider audience!

Maxim describes himself as a ‘Growth & Automation Nerd’ (a fitting title for us!)

He enjoys posting about no-code custom AI and has introduced many individuals to the capabilities of callin.io + langchain.

This brings us to our final category: Supporters! Ihor and Nico Kow have been incredibly helpful on our forum. They are often quicker to respond than Jon, which is quite an achievement!

Ihor is from Canada, and we see him on the forum nearly every day (he has even answered some of my own questions!).

Nico is from Germany – he offers callin.io consulting and mentoring (which sounds a bit daunting!)

– and we also see him on the forum very frequently.

Thank you!

Once again, thank you to everyone! We plan to do this again next year and are considering adding categories such as Documentation. Please share any ideas or contributions you might have!

That word triggers me way more than it should

:stuck_out_tongue:

I’m just kidding of course, these awards are well deserved all of you. Congratulations to everyone who won, and thanks a million to everyone else who is active in this community. In fact, this community is what made me apply for callin.io in the first place back in 2021.
