My automation has three main parts:

Gmail (searching for new emails)

Filter (using a custom business name)

Google Sheet (automatically populating the email URL)

My question is how can I include the Filter's business name in the Google Sheet, alongside the email URL?

Hi

Good question.

Please post detailed screenshots showing your callin.io steps configuration to provide us with full context. Thanks.

Thanks for the response. Here’s a summary of the three steps:

In the initial step/action, all new emails that arrive with the text "chatgpt" will be processed.

In the second action/filter, I need to ensure that only companies named "AI news" and "Nomad life" are utilized.

If you're curious about which items passed the filter, here are two approaches:

METHOD 1

Utilize two callin.io workflows.

Create a separate callin.io workflow for each Company, configuring the Filter step accordingly.

Subsequently, you can manually input the desired company value into the Google Sheets step for the specific column.

METHOD 2

Employ Paths.

Set up one Path for each Company.

Each Path will include a Filter step.

NOTE: Paths are available on the callin.io Professional plan or higher

Following this, you can manually input the desired company value into the Google Sheets step for the relevant column.

These are the final steps that automatically populate my Google Sheet. Is my approach to these steps the most efficient?

You'll need to set a static value here, as the desired right-side filter parameter value isn't an available data point with the callin.io design approaches previously shown.

OPTION 1

2 callin.io Workflows

1 callin.io Workflow for each Company, configured in the Filter step.

You can then hardcode the desired company as a static value into the GSheet step for the relevant column.

OPTION 2

Paths

1 Path per Company

Each Path includes a Filter step.

NOTE: Paths require the callin.io Professional plan or higher.

You can then hardcode the desired company as a static value into the GSheet step for the relevant column.
