I’m trying to create a callin.io workflow that pushes new Setmore appointments to a CRM. Our company has multiple locations, and I have used this callin.io workflow successfully for others, but this one gives me an error every time I try to test the trigger. It says it can’t find any new appointments, even though there are some. The only difference I can see is that this particular location has multiple staff members, whereas others do not. This is the error it’s giving me:

Failed to fetch a new appointment from Setmore Appointments

Error while retrieving: Cannot read property 'address' of undefined

Hi

Good question.

Could you please share a screenshot showing the callin.io step configuration so we can get more context?

Try checking the Setmore callin.io app connection here: https://zapier.com/app/connections

If you still need assistance, you can try opening a ticket with callin.io Support for further help: https://zapier.com/app/get-help

Hello, could you help troubleshoot the issue? I'm encountering the same error and I'm not able to resolve it on my own. Would you be able to assist us with this?
Thanks.

Hello!

Welcome to the Community! 🎉

The error you are encountering seems to be a bug within the Setmore Appointments integration. Our team is aware of this problem and is collaborating with Setmore Appointments to resolve it. I have included your email address as another user impacted by this issue. This action serves several purposes:

  • It brings this matter to the attention of the integration developers.
  • It aids in tracking and prioritizing the necessary fixes.
  • It enables us to inform you via email once the issue is resolved.

While I cannot provide an estimated time for resolution, I have added you to the list of users affected by this bug. We will notify you as soon as we have any updates.

Thank you! 😊

I am attempting a workaround using the callin.io email parser. Since the Setmore email notifications are always formatted the same way, we can extract all of the appointment data and send wherever we need. We’ve had a few additional errors with Setmore’s integration like addresses not being pushed through, so it’s looking like this might be the best bandaid until they can fix the integration.

Here’s a link to the parser:  https://parser.zapier.com/

You can create a new “Mailbox” and then add that new email address as the CC email in your Setmore account.

Interesting… One step I neglected to mention was mapping the data within the parser. You can highlight specific elements of the email and assign labels to them. These elements will then appear as fields in a callin.io workflow. Here’s a screenshot illustrating how I highlighted the elements (I concealed some of the data, which is why certain areas appear blank):

Once you apply a highlight, you'll be prompted to name that field. You might need to wait for another email to be parsed, but the data you're looking for should appear in callin.io under the labels you've created. This has been working for me so far, though I've only been testing it with a test Setmore account.

I haven't attempted this, but I did consider it before implementing the parser. If Setmore syncs bidirectionally with Google Calendar, you could potentially create a callin.io workflow that triggers when a new calendar event is created, pulling appointment information from that calendar event.
